First edition of Gulbene district map has been prepared using ortophoto snapshots, the newest cartographical materials and field survey data. All territory of Gulbene district has been inspected during year 2006, especially to define auto road network more exactly and to concretize tourism and service objects. Map is supplemented with wide range of information about each local municipality (general information, tourist hotels, examination benches e.t.c.), also more than 20 photos.
Map is issued in cooperation with council of Gulbene district. Both map and references is clarified with all of the local municipalities of each region, therefore the map of Gulbene district in scale 1:100 000 is most accurate cartographical edition of this territory at this time.
