The atlas opens with an introduction to Latvia in Europe and contains a double-spread full of charts comparing various key indicators of Latvia with those of other countries.
The next chapter of the atlas is devoted to the natural geography of Latvia. Thematic maps on geomorphology, geology, minerals, physiographic division, climate, soils, forests, hydrology, and nature protection are all illustrated with photos
The coming pages are devoted to economy of Latvia and a short insight in history of it as well. In addition to the administrative division map there is a double-spread showing the coats of arms all towns of Latvia. Particular double page spreads gives information on national composition and religions, distribution of population, demographic and social indicators, industry, agriculture, transport, foreign trade and culture heritage.
