GIS data base "Baltic countries and Kaliningrad region 1:400

In 1997 Jana Seta Map Publishers begun to develop a comprehensive GIS data base on
territory of Latvia, in 2003 creation of GIS data of Lithuania and Kaliningrad region
started. In 2005 data layers of these data bases were implemented with data of Estonia and
neighbouring territories of Baltic countries - parts of Russia, Poland and Belarus. A brand new full data
cover of Baltic states and Kaliningrad region was created.
Data base Baltic countries and Kaliningrad region 1:400 000 contains very wide range of
information - both basic data layers, and also several unique and specific layers.
Data base Baltic countries and Kaliningrad region 1:400 000 has been updated and
improved all the time, following the changes and processes in nature, economy,
infrastructure, road network, distribution of population and other spheres. Structure of
data base allows to improve it in accordance with requirements of client by adding new
data layers or changing attributive information. Data base Baltic countries and
Kaliningrad region 1:400 000 was used to develop Map of Baltic countries, Road atlas of Baltic countries and Kaliningrad region and
road maps of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
