This year Map publishers Jāņa Sēta was involved in organizing of annual AveSol rally, what took place in 18th and 19th of August within the Riga Festival. Participants of rally were assured with Track&Trace system and cartographic material. The aim of rally was to popularize the safe driving. The checkpoints were laid at numerous churches and teams from 24 largest companies of Latvia raced and visited them.
The task of mounted Track&Trace devices was to ensure possibility to track the participants in actual time and register their speed, route and stops. The screen in the Town Square was situated and sympathizers of race could see the moving of each equipage on the map of Latvia via Internet and Transport Control system interposition. ![](javascript:big_size_pic("../js_soft.pic/avesol/printscr_inet_sekosana.gif",1000,800);)
The results and test during the rally let us evaluate stability of the system and device Track+ quality. Transport Control system justified our hopes. We conclude that it is the best solution and the most stable of all devices that were tested till now. The Transport Control system could attend all requests in the Internet for information about cars of rally and realized route. In images
