Applications are available in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=eu.balticmaps.android\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Play<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/balticmaps\/id437264448\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A paid subscription to the full version of the app purchased from the Google Play Store is not valid for iOS phones (Apple) and vice versa.<\/p>\n<p>In the free version users can access following features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>browse <strong>maps<\/strong> made by \u201dJana Seta\u201d as well as browse contemporary and historical topographic maps of Latvia;<\/li>\n<li>browse the latest <strong>orthophoto maps<\/strong> of Latvia (L\u0122IA) and Estonia (Maa-met);<\/li>\n<li>use GPS functionality to determine your or other <strong>location (WGS and LKS-92 coordinates) on map<\/strong> and the closest <strong>address<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>share <strong>your location<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>report errors or changes in map data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the paid subscription version users can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>use <strong>full turn-by-turn navigation<\/strong>, with voice instructions for cars and pedestrians, including up to 50 waypoints;<\/li>\n<li><strong>search<\/strong>\u00a0for Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian addresses and places, localities, counties, parishes, rivers, lakes, points of interest etc.;<\/li>\n<li><strong>download and use offline vector map<\/strong> (for now, available only for Android);<\/li>\n<li>see <strong>cadastre information <\/strong>and search cadastral parcel and buildings in Latvia;<\/li>\n<li>see <strong>live traffic information<\/strong> in Riga and Pieriga (updated every five minutes) and speed cameras;<\/li>\n<li>browse the hillshade map of Latvia, representing detailed topography and elevation;<\/li>\n<li>bookmark favourite places;<\/li>\n<li>see points of interest, speed cameras on the map;<\/li>\n<li>see Baltic-wide <strong>long distance hiking trails<\/strong> \u2014 the Forest Trail, the Baltic Coastal Hiking Route and Latgale Lake Hiking trail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201dJana Seta\u201d updates the address information on daily basis, vector maps and POI data on monthly basis, its raster maps on quarterly basis. However, updates of orthophoto and topographic maps is provided by third party services (L\u0122IA, Maa-met, LVM). It is also possible to submit map corrections or recommendations for changes in functionality in the application.<\/p>\n<p>The app is available in Latvian and English.<\/p>\n<p>You can get the full version via subscription. The price is <strong>14.99 EUR for yearly subcription<\/strong> or <strong>4.99 EUR for 3 months subscription<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Answers to frequently asked questions about the iPhone and Android application.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raster maps may be used without internet connection in areas that have already been previously loaded (stored in the phone&#8217;s internal memory).
