The fourth volume of the encyclopedia reveals even more success stories of many manors compared to the previous volumes, as they are now well cared for, restored, renovated, and maintained. The encyclopedia “Manors in Latvia” gives the reader an opportunity to gain a fuller view and reflection of historical events and their consequences in Latvia’s history. At the same time, it serves as a monument to the enduring energy of people – proof of the desire to change and to transform – standing as an independent witness that characterizes ourselves and the processes taking place in society.
