Uus maailma atlas is a comprehensive and versatile reference work suitable for both demanding map users and students. Its content is fully aligned with the new national education standard and the geography curriculum, making it an excellent resource for learning and teaching.
The atlas features over 200 maps and illustrations, complemented by an extensive reference section that includes flags of countries and territories, as well as an index of over 12,000 place names. A dedicated section on Estonia is also included.
As the world changes rapidly, this fifth edition of the Uus maailma atlas reflects hundreds of updates made by cartographers. The atlas includes the current geopolitical situation in Ukraine, updated names of Ukrainian cities, and information about international sanctions — including those imposed on Russia.
The atlas also features an updated map of global conflicts and revised migration maps that reflect recent refugee movements and trends from the past few years.
