The atlas is designed for the natural science class for the pupils of 1st to 6th grades.<\/p>\n
The included maps and illustrations help pupils better understand geography-related topics covered in the science curriculum – including space and Earth, the structure of the Earth, map reading and orientation, as well as topics about Latvia, Europe, and the world.<\/p>\n
The atlas is aligned with the national education standard and the official science curriculum. Its development involved both experienced teachers and specialists from the Ministry of Education and Science.<\/p>\n
Visually rich and engaging, the publication features original illustrations by children’s book artist Agija Staka-Jansone.<\/p>\n
