The panoramic drawing of central Riga has been masterfully created by one of Latvia’s leading graphic designers, Reinis Pētersons.
The illustration features Old Riga (Vecrīga), the adjacent canal-side greenbelt and boulevard ring, the station and market area, as well as a strip of Pārdaugava with the National Library building. The astonishingly precise and incredibly detailed image allows us to view the city as if from a hot air balloon.
The panorama is accompanied by a compact guide with descriptions of the most popular sights and a plan of Old Riga with a street name index. The locations described in the guide are highlighted within the panoramic drawing.
