Description
The atlas is designed for the natural science class for the pupils of 1st to 6th grades.
The included maps and illustrations help pupils better understand geography-related topics covered in the science curriculum – including space and Earth, the structure of the Earth, map reading and orientation, as well as topics about Estonia, Europe, and the world.
The atlas is aligned with the national education standard and the official science curriculum. Its development involved both experienced teachers and specialists from the Ministry of Education and Science.
Visually rich and engaging, the publication features original illustrations by children’s book artist Agija Staka-Jansone.
The atlas is complemented by a separate booklet containing a small set of contour maps, specially designed for primary school students in grades 1-6.
