Description
The Book of Latvian Coats of Arms is the first publication to bring together information on the heraldry of Latvia’s municipalities following the 2021 administrative-territorial reform. It features all currently approved coats of arms of Latvia’s historical regions, cities and parishes, as well as information on the national coat of arms and the history of its creation. It is also the first publication to include English-language heraldic descriptions of Latvian municipal coats of arms.
The author, Edgars Sims, is one of the few heraldry specialists in Latvia actively involved in the design and development of coats of arms for municipalities, organisations and families.
